Allison has created a gem of a gathering with her amazing pen parties.  She invites your to uncover your inner voice and magically the lover of writing appears, truly!  Especially if you think you are "challenged" but always seem to love the expression of words on a paper.  Allison has fun writing prompts, a wonderful setting and eager group attendees.  I have attended all of the circles and continue to live in the space of wanting more time to write...the space is welcoming!--B.U.

When I started coming to Allison's writing circle, I was starting my work as a playwright, but having a hard time finding the time to write.  I thought a weekly writing time would help get me on track.  What I have experienced has been so much more enriching than simply a time to write.  Allison has a wonderful way of suspending time and make the moments together so unique.  She has created a safe environment where I began to express myself in a group like I hadn't since my college dorm days.  I was able to push aside the present day and truly be present in the moment.  Her well thought out exercises and writing prompts enabled me to dig deep into my own thoughts and feelings better which has enhanced my fiction writing.  --Christa Butler

I just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful experience today.
Such an encouraging atmosphere and obviously you take your
creativity very seriously. I'm so impressed with how you ran
the 2 hour session - not an easy thing to do! I really

I have enjoyed this group even more than I had anticipated. Setting aside 2 hours a week for just writing has been a treasure, it's like a form of meditation and really the only time in my week I feel I'm doing something just for myself with no apologies.  It was just the catalyst I needed to get going on a regular writing practice, I just need to learn to shut out the world and set aside some sacred writing time!  --Jeanine

Being a part of Allison's writing circle allowed me to wake up my creativity! Allison created a safe and well designed space so that we could all dive deep into the writing and let our inner voices lead the way. I was SO surprised at what came out of me. I always thought I was a decent writer, but the experience of the writing circle allowed me to experience so much more of my creative gifts. It was also a therapeutic outlet for me and after each circle I would feel recharged and more confident in what I had to offer.
